After receiving my medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1970, I headed north to Michigan and completed a Family Practice Residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals, Saginaw, Michigan.  I am board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

After a stint in the US Navy I spent 23 years in Private Practice in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

In 1998, I joined the medical staff of Truman Medical Center Lakewood. In my capacity as Assistant Professor, I enjoy working with the patients, residents, and faculty. 

In my spare time, I enjoy competitive barbequing and spending time with my grandchildren.
